An Unkuna is a small woven cloth used to hold coca leaves. Some are woven from natural alpaca with no design other than stripes and pampa or broad open spaces. Others are brightly colored with yarn tassels. These cloths are also used for coca leaf readings or stone divination……or for carrying lunch. These pieces can be used as inner cloths for a mesa. Where designated the piece is an older piece. Click on the thumbnail to view a larger image.
