Chumpi Stones ...

These stones or kuyas are connected to the sacred mountains of Peru and carry the sacred energy held by the mountains or apu's. They are most commonly used when the bands of power are installed in the luminous architecture of the body. Chumpi Stones are also used by the Shamans and healers of Peru in healing practices, to initiate or give lineage rites and to connect to the Apus (mountains). They have been initiated by the mountains. This set of 7 stones comes with a beautiful unkuna (small coth which will vary with each set as they are one of a kind), a pouch for each of the 7 stones, beaded watana (tie), small bottle of Aqua de Florida and a pair of Huayruros seeds (one masculine and one feminine) for protection and luck.

This hand carved set of 12 chumpi stones has a beautiful patina from being used. As is true of stones that have been used in ceremony there are some signs of wear that add to the energy held by the stones. Chumpis are associated with 12 sacred apus (mountains) of the Andes that are honored by the villages in and around the Sacred Valley and Cusco. This set of 12 stones comes with a beautiful unkuna (small coth), a pouch for each of the 12 stones, beaded watana (tie), small bottle of Aqua de Florida and a pair of Huayruros seeds (one masculine and one feminine) for protection and luck.
