Peru has a long tradition of weaving, many of the sources of which are traced directly back to the Inca and tribes prior to the Inca. They are very practical people and their weaving traditions provided them with warm and beautiful clothing along with utilitarian objects used in everyday life. It utilizes threads of the rich and deep colors….Ivory, Brown, Dusty Lavender, and Red with small stripes of dusty lavender, crimson, sage green, red, teal and sienna. There is an embroidered embellishment down the center that is red. It is finished with the traditional tubular binding. The pattern represents the Apus (mountains), Tika (flowers) and Apuchin (Condor).

Red, Ivory, Purple accented with small stripes of olive green, burnt orange, teal and dark red. It has a beautiful accent of dusty lavender waves just next to the the center of the textile. There is an embroidered embellishment down the center that is of the accent colors (red, ivory, golden yellow and green).It is finished with the traditional tubular binding.
