A note from Stevi
|
|
It is hard to believe that it was over three months
ago
that I returned from Peru. As many of you may
have
noticed the newsletter and I have been out of touch for
the last couple of months. August, September and
October have been incredible months. A lot of
stimulation and integration.
For stimulation there has been Sound with
Tom
Kenyon and Company in Seattle (highly
recommended); Shamanic work with Jose Luis
Herrera (great community and teachings); ceremony
with Mt. Shasta,
Mt. Rainer and Mt. St. Helens (informative); and an
Intensive with Swami Kaleshwar in Santa Cruz (life
changing).
For integration there has been new sound
tools and
conscious dream recapitulation along with a lot of
meditation and reformatting. It has been about riding
the wave of the dimensional shift that we have been in
the midst of.
I hope that the last several months have been
amazing and rewarding for all of you. May the
blessings and joy of the coming months of
introspection and magic be your pathway to
enlightenment and bliss.
As always holding you in love and
beauty. Stevi

Happy All Hallows Eve!
|
|
or more commonly known as Halloween
The term "Halloween" (or eve) before the feast of All
Saints (an important day in the Christian calendar),
which used to be called "All Hallows" derived from All
Hallowed Souls. In Ireland, the name was Hallow Eve
and this name is still used by some older people.
Halloween was also sometimes called All Saints' Eve.
The holiday was a day of religious festivities in various
northern European pagan traditions, until it was
appropriated by Christian missionaries and given a
Christian reinterpretation. In Mexico November 2nd,
after All Saint's Day, following Halloween, is the Day of
the Dead.
In the Celtic tradition, All Hallows Eve or Hallowmas is
the Celtic New Year. It is a time to honor the dying
season. That which remains of the year's harvest has
begun to decompose and transform into fertilizer and
food for the next year's crop.
Spiritually this is an opportunity to reflect on what we
have lost or let go of....or not quite let go of yet. It is a
time for us to work with and clear grief or emotions
that are still holding us. It may be time to honor a
loved one or friend that we have lost. Looking at
dreams that have been shattered or have not
manifested. Disappointments and frustrations that
have stuck with us.
As you review the year that has passed with
introspection and retrospection, remember to
commune with the ancestors and honor those who
has come before you. Ask yourself what you are
choosing to leave behind.
A simple way to do this is to go for a walk and as you
reflect on what you wish to let go of pick up a stone
and blow the feelings into the stone. Fill your pockets
with stones until you feel you are ready to let go of all
that is weighing you down. Then find a stream, river,
lake or ocean and throw the stones into the water.
Notice how much lighter you feel when you are done.
Another wonderful way of celebrating and honoring the
past and letting go of it is to do a prayer bundle or
Unwinding Despacho(recipe in Recapitualtion Article)
and do a fire ceremony.
Once you have released that which no longer serves
you it is time to look to the future. Divine, asking the
spirits and ancestors for blessings in the coming
year. You have left things behind and now it is time to
decide what you wish to take with you into the next
year. Send your prayers to all the elements, earth, sky,
wind, water and fire engaging in all that is in creating
your reality. Celebrate the coming year nourishing it
with your intention and clarity. And most of all have
some fun with family and friends! Happy All
Hallows
Eve!

Recapitulation: a simple and powerful practice
|
|
especially when done in the dream state!
The process of Recapitulation is one that I have
worked with in the past. I have used it to clear the
connections between myself and people in my life and
any energies that have been held by me in
relationship to old wounds and memories. The
Toltecs, Carlos Castenada, Jessie Ayani, and many
other authors talk about it in their writings.
Making recapitulation a regular part of your day
and
spiritual practice helps to keep your system clean and
clear. If you master this process you can even
recapitulate a situation as it happens and be done
with it immediately. As a part of your spiritual
maintenance you can do recapitulation by using a very
simple Unwinding despacho to assist in the releasing
of energy that you want to be done with. (recipe for this
despacho below)
Recapitulation is simple review or summarization
of
an event or situation. To recapitulate something
means to recall the situation or story (short version).
Then to see what the lesson in it is or was. Then look
at what the strategy was that it triggered or that you
developed as a result of it. Seeing the strategy was
help you to see where you might get stuck or where
you would like to change. Now ask yourself what
needs to be done to resolve the situation. This may
be as simple as forgiving yourself or someone else. It
could mean that you need to talk to the person to
express yourself. Or it could be that you are just ready
to let it go. You can simply unwind this from the
chakra that you feel it has most effected or do the
Unwinding despacho.
Recently, I had a very potent dream that had a
couple
of places in it that felt unresolved. As I woke up
and "recapitulated" the dream I realized that I could
take the opportunity to rework the dream right then and
there. I went back to the places where the dream had
felt unresolved and worked in a lucid dream state to
change my responses and action. Then I followed the
dream to its conclusion which felt very different. This
was also an opportunity to see where I might have
energy that needed to be addressed in a more in dept
manner.
This is a powerful practice whether you use it in
daily
life or with a dream. Try it and see how it works for
you.
Unwinding/Letting Go
Despacho
Ingredients: Piece of white paper
Sugar
Shell White Carnations
Instructions:
Fold paper in thirds both directions (you will build the
despacho in the center
quadrant of the paper)
Place sugar in four corners and in a cross asking
Pachamama to help you with releasing all that no
longer serves your above highest good and yours
souls destiny related to the issue released.
Place the shell in the center (if you have red and white
wine you can put a small amount in the shell to
represent the apus and pachamama)
Taking petals from the carnations: you will use these
as the k'intu and for each aspect of this issue
(behaviors, past patterns, etc) or persons you will
blow into a the petals the energy related, you can
also use the k'intu to release energy you may feel in
your field by taking the k'intu and moving counter-
clockwise at the place you are feeling energy.
Now place the k'intu around the shell. As you place
each k'intu they will be going in a counter-clockwise
fashion.
When you are finished will put in more sugar in a
counter-clockwise fashion asking Pachamama to
make this release and letting go be sweet and
gentle. Tie the despacho up and rub it counter-
clockwise all over your body. This despacho can
be burned or released into a body of water (if you plan
to release into water- use a paper that is easily
decomposed like rice paper).

Any Time (Poem)
|
|
by Laz Slomovits
Unlike in fields - subject to seasons - in a human
life,
planting, growing, harvesting can occur any time.
The fruit of such living can ripen in Spring
or Winter, and seed can take root any time.
There is nothing hidden in these four lines
that you can't find in your own life any time.
Age does not regulate seasons for this kind
of farming, though it may decide seed and fruit.
Any time a new start is imagined, felt,
or just deeply hoped for, a newly created sun
rises and quickens the seeds, and clouds
start to form above the prayers of well-wishers.
And if we've forgotten or never learned
the proper prayer to bless the crops,
let's make one up. And tomorrow,
another one. Actually, any time. Now.

Diane Dunn and Paz y Luz in Pisac, Peru
Diane Dunn moved to Peru at the turn of the
millennium to manifest a vision of a spirituality center
in Cusco's Sacred Valley. A center where people from
around the world, with different faith traditions and
practices, would come together to create a new way of
living together in peace, harmony and unity.
After several years of networking with spiritual leaders
and groups, in 2006 she felt it was time to organize
our first gathering - to envision, experience and
manifest the world the way we want it to be. Her
original idea was to have spiritual leaders from
different traditions around the world come with some
of their followers and other interested individuals. The
format would be open until all the participants arrived.
Only then would the agenda be formulated.
But instead of "leaders and followers" she got ordinary
individuals who were interested in doing extraordinary
things. And they did. A new vision for the gathering
emerged. Twenty-four people from six countries and
four continents envisioned the world the way they
wanted it to be - with clay, storytelling and meditation.
They experienced it through dance, painting, singing,
skits and yoga. They manifested it through a day-long
transformation ritual.
A participant named Kent wrote about his experience:
"The conference was designed to be largely
extemporaneous utilizing individual participation as
the person felt called. I can only describe this as
wow. It was a divine flow of energy that was not
scripted or rehearsed. The experience of being in this
collective was a blessed gift. All beliefs, ideals, and
values of the individual were respected and honored
with no individual need for recognition. This was what
I would term a new unity consciousness, where
24 "I"s united to realize their Oneness. Papers, plans
and designs weren't required to be drawn up and
implemented in the future. The world was changed for
each of us individually and collectively when we
gathered to remember and recognize who and what
WE are."
Val wrote:
"I was reminded how powerful it is to bring a group of
people together and encourage them to explore their
own power. I believe that we must know and love who
we are as individuals and particular groups of people
if we are to know and love other individuals and
groups so that one day there is no "us and them,'
simply US. I was reminded how important it is to find
out what holds us back from being our true selves so
we can release it and become channels for healing in
the world. I was shown again, that we are vessels of
light and healing, even when we don't think we can
possibly be."
Each ones world, personal and collective was
changed and therefore each life that they touched
since. What they created was more than the sum of
the parts each contributed. This is the power of ritual,
of collective envisioning, of group manifestation.
Come and experience for yourself this power of
transformation. April 17-20, 2008. Envision,
Experience and Manifest the word the way we want it
to be.

Jen Moffat Eramith, MA - Akashic Transformations
Jen Moffat Eramith is a reader of Akashic
Records. Here is what Jen has to say about the
service she provides:
Through the Akashic Records, I provide a channel
for people to access their own divine connection to
Spirit. This is something every person can do through
prayer, meditation, and other methods. The method I
teach is through accessing the Akashic Records.
I have been offering Akashic Record Consultations
since 2001, and have been teaching people to access
the Records themselves since 2004. I first learned to
access the Akashic Records when I was a massage
therapist and a graduate student in Communication
Studies. I found that I was encouraged to be intuitive
as a healer, and to be rational as an academic. It is
through working with the Akashic Records that I have
found an expression for both intuition and rational
thinking as two ways of working that work well
together.
From the very first time I worked with them, I have
found the Akashic Records to give clear and accurate
answers to the questions people ask. Since that time,
I have offered hundreds of consultations for people
around the world. I have consistently found the
Akashic Records to offer a clear and incredibly loving
source for people to understand their own divine
nature and the wisdom of the Universe.
At this time in the world, mystical healers and
spiritual channelers are widely available. I believe it is
imperative that we all remain true to what feels right to
us regardless of what messages we receive from
others. In order to be sure that I work with integrity, I
require measurable, consistent accuracy from myself
as a channel for the Akashic Records, and I ask that
my clients hold me to a high level of clarity and
accuracy. I encourage you to use both your intuition
and your thinking as you determine whether you would
like to work with me, and to hold true to what feels
right and makes sense to you.
One of the things I enjoy most about channeling
information from the Akashic Records is seeing the
empowerment that people experience as they come to
understand their divine expressions and unique roles
in the Universe. Without fail, the Akashic Records
offer truth in a way that really does set us free! I find
that the energy and information conveyed from the
Akashic Records through a consultation often serve
as accelerators for people in their lives. Ultimately,
the Akashic Records emphasize the importance of
trusting your individual path - it will lead you places
you never dreamed could be so wonderful!

November 4: Swami Kaleshwar's Five Elements
Course by Mutiam in Palm Desert at Desert Healing
Arts Swami Kaleshwar teaches that the
energy of the five elements is what awakens a
person's divine channels. The five elements: earth,
fire, sky (ether or space), water and air, are the five
pillars of Creation. When a master awakens the
spiritual energy in a student, the hidden mechanism
causing the awakening is the five elements' energy.
This is why the Five Elements Process is
fundamental to all of Swami's teachings.
In the Five Elements Process you 'charge' your soul
with the energy of each element. Charging purifies the
element in you and heals you. Once you are charged
with that element, particular symptoms appear which
indicate that you are aligned with the energy of the
element and can then use it to heal others. All
miracles happen through the five elements' energy.
Ultimately, through advanced techniques to command
on the five elements, you become a siddha, a
supernatural saint.
